13 Hollywood Classisc in need of a remake or Sequel.
Sometimes the Images that gets you excited as a child, are the ones that stick the most. There's no doubt that everybody have that set movies that shaped his childhood. The type he could watch a hundred times over and not get tired of. Hollywood has grown and it now tap into the future to make screen contents. As much as the listed films stay Classic and legendary, there's a need for them to feel the current wave of tech perfection and crisp visual quality, furthermore reviving memories in a better way. Storylines can remain the or tweaked a little bit. Anywhich way.
Here's your list.
1. Mortal combat.
This one has been overdue! Like this is the depot of superheroes and immortals. I can imagine a director like James Cameron on this and whole bunch of new exciting actors. This movie is so legendary, after many decades, its video games version are still top rated.
2. Rambo.
Sylvester Stallone's baby. He's obviously too old to play this role now, which provides an opportunity for someone younger. The one man army type of thing is what made this more exciting.
3. The Godfather.
As kids, we didn't really make much out of this movie, cuz there were much complicated issues and words innit but through the years we synced into it. All about the Godfatherism among the Mafians.
4. Scarface.
Tony Montana! All day! Everyday classic. This is one of Al pacino's masterpiece. How he split people's anatomy with his tummy gun is bananas.
5. Matrix.
Mhmmm. This is that one movie for Nigerians, you constantly hear things like "See lie". The achievement in picture and stunts precedes the era or year in which it was produced. The actors on this one can still retain their roles as Keanu Reeves is still getting it kicking on John Wick. Fishburne is not totally out of shape.
6. You got served.
Yo! This is like the pioneer Break dance movie for kids my age group though, I don't know about you. The dance world is packed now, steps are more Sophisticated and all. I don't even know if Omarion and his crew can still kick it on this one. Seen that B2k ain't even existing no more.
7. Indiana Jones.
Definitely not Harrison Ford for this one. Maybe Chris Hemsworth or Bradley Cooper. This one if definitely gonna witness a massive change of cast.
8. The Gladiator.
Uhmmnm. Russell Crowe can't Jump on this too. But the whole content of the film itself is historic and very relevant to the evolution of entertainment. I say it deserves a retouch.
9. Jackie Chan's Drunken Master.
Aaaaaah! I was so engrossed in this one, I tried engaging in a real fight acting like the drunken master. That was the first I knew how it felt to be knocked out cold. I think this time around if it ever gets considered, Jackie should play the master.
10. Bad boys.
I heard sometime ago, there's gonna be an added installation but it all died down. Probably an issue with getting the characters on board. Well I think Hollywood is large enough to scout for alternatives.
11. Xena the warrior princess.
Riding on the waves of Box Office dominating feminist inspired action film like wonder woman, I think Xena the warrior princess coming through would fuel it up to a whole new level. Seen that it's a classic and topical.
12. The Scorpion King.
This is probably Dwayne Johnson's debut to the make believe world. Oh! Almost forgot WWE world is make believe too. His debut to FILM. Since he's been a brake less vehicle. Topping the list of highest grossing actors. Well scorpion king of those days was Errr. The effects had lose ends and almost looked animated. I believe better can be done now.
13. Soul Plane
This is Kevin Hart's First. And he's always referring to soul plane for his success and how big it did beyond his expectations. I think the comedy and drama in soul plane could be doubled and have stars as passengers for the plane from Hollywood, NBA, rappers, WBE, NFL and the rest to give more weight, just like snoop was the first pilot in the first.
Well… These are all in my head though. Thank you for reading.
