GREATEST SWORDSMEN ON TV (List)

Sword fight is probably the oldest form of weapon usage in battle and it has outlived quite many we have seen. Pulling a very breathtaking sword slinging stunt in a movie must be some nut to crack. Though they are probably some cushion stuffed props, but the the stunts, angles and motions are real and the most impressive deserves some accolades. Lol. Here's my list of greatest swordsmen on TV. Enjoy 13. Abraham Setrakian (David Bradley)  - Strain Abraham Setrakian is most likely to be swallowed on this list, based on his age and amount of sword wielding stunts he can perform,  but you can't deny the man's proficiency in the war against the strigois and how many of the blood sucking munchers his sword cane has put to rest. And Oh! He chopped off Eirchorst's head after putting the world in ruins and escaped death from everyone who came for him. 12. Zorro ( Antonio Banderas) - Zorro Zorro is one of our oldest tv legends with his Iconic half face ma

THE IRONY OF WORK HARD AND STILL GET NADA IN THE NIGERIAN SYSTEM

This piece is quite contextual and do have layers of  exceptions. Being born in Nigeria on it's own, comes with a bigger lean of weight on disadvantages than the perks.     It has become very easy and cliché to label a poor or an unsuccessful Nigerian as lazy or foolish. The latter is specifically pointing at the shady routes to riches or success in one's dealings through crooked backdoor channels or going dark and occultic. The concept of thriving for an extraordinary level of success, let's say squeezing your way into a fortune 500 company position in Nigeria, top 10 on forbes list, holding an influential position with high relevance or even get a comfortable mid class level job has been placed on a code access restriction, firstly with the total ridicule of the substance of a degree certificate. The previously listed opportunities or positions are like family, cabal and clique controlled in the country. Nigeria is like the leading figure of nepotism and favoritis

DAVIDO OFFICIALLY OWNS 2017! WHY?

Few months back I published an article on Why Davido is arguably the most hardworking and evolved Nigerian artist . It was majorly a sweep through his career progress from the inception till early 2017. The end of 2017 have rolled out nothing but pure greatness and more efforts on his path, furthermore verifying the topic of my first article.  His covered milestone and dominance in amount of content (hits) and their buzz on digital platforms and airplay for 2017 went over the roof. He kicked off the year with 'IF' which is certified the biggest Nigerian (I say African) song of the year by different media houses. IF, had the longest chart topping period of the year. It was everywhere, bumped by international artists like Omarion, Justin skye and R. Kelly, who blessed the joint with a heavenly remix that would probably be responsible for lotta unplanned babies.          He followed up with 'Fall' as his second single for the year. As an already created pat

MUSIC REVIEW: LIKE DAT - DAVIDO

Give this man the keys to the city already. This joint is everything and more than we expected from the streak and route he's taken this year. "Like that" is absolutely lyrically packed and fun to listen to. Believe there's no better way to end the year with a bang. The man has discovered the formula of back to back hits and he's never deserted the lab. The song is chilly and urban, words and bars knitted perfectly into the Instrumental kicks and strings. Pretty much fit into lot of situations or moods. Davido has done it again. JUMIA BLACK FRIDAY IS ON! TAKE A PEAK.

AFRICAN ARTISTS AND THEIR ENTREPRENEURIAL ENDEAVORS. WHY THEY ALWAYS FLOP.

As we all know, the driving force to a brand's success is majorly rested on good PR and marketing. For celebrities it's a bit easier to push a brand, with an already existing bunch of loyalists and fans before the nitty-gritty phase of marketing. They get paid to flaunt or represent other brands in events or gatherings, so it just add up to why endeavors on their own path should be half work done. Now having observed all the perks that comes with being a celebrity, be it an Musician, actor, athlete or media personality, it occurs to me that the window is not properly utilized or acknowledged by Nigerian celebrities. At the expense of coming through so cliché, I'd like to observe few American celebrities who have built bigger income routes and fortune off their existing fame. Now, I'm not just stating the obvious and leaving it at that. There's a failure of treating this side hustles as a full fledged business on the path of our Nigerian/ African acts. Gett

10 SMOOTHEST TALKING CHARACTERS IN TV SERIES.

The number of brain building, enlightening and interesting series premiered on an annual basis is pretty crazy and large. Very complex storylines, evidence of chunky budget in settings/ costumes and most importantly, the choice of actors and their character interpretation.  Some of the actors/ Characters on this list have created some kinda household name or legendary status with just a single character they portray in a specific TV series.  This is not just a random list or focused on a heroic character in a film. It's majorly geared towards observing Characters whose dialogues are sticky and powerful. Some of these characters talk their way out of death (they can convince a person with a gun or knife to their head to have a change of mind). They can convince any character in the film to do their bidding. They can lighten up the most tensed situation with few lines. Though mostly owed to the script writers but let's appreciate the characters (not the actors) which are
